- The Silent Knight Pill Crusher is used by aged care facilities, hospitals, pharmacies, correctional and psychiatric facilities.

- With non-slip footings, it weighs about 2kg, is very stable & at approximately 26 x 76 x 11cm & fits neatly into the medication trolley drawers or on top of the desk.

- Packed in lots of 50 exactly fitting the pillcrusher
| STEPS |
Remove a pouch from the dispenser. Place the tablet(s) in the plastic pouch. It is imperative that only soft tablets such as Panadol are crushed 4-5 at a time. Hard tablets must be crushed individually.
NOTE: Do not overfill pouches.
Lift the handle and place the pouch about half way into the crushing area. Line up the tablets with the top of the metal crushing plate.
NOTE: The supplied pouches only must be used or damage to the pill crusher can result. Furthermore, the usage of other containers may puncture or rip that container resulting in loss of medication.
Without using undue force, press the handle down to crack the pills. Repeat pressing the handle down while feeding the tablets further into the crushing area.

Shake the pouch to put the tablets all the way down to the bottom of the crushing area to complete the crushing.

Tapping the handle rapidly while removing the pouch will pulverize the tablet(s) into a fine powder form.

After reaching the desired particle size, pour the medication into a medicine cup, or other administration medium for serving to the patient. Tap the sides and corners of the pouch to remove any trapped particles.
Dispose of pouch after use safely. |

The Silent Knight is made entirely of non-corrosive metal and can be cleaned with any common disinfectant or simply with water. There should be no tablet residue on the pillcrusher if the correct pouches are used and they are not overfilled.
