The B27 lithium-ion battery powers the CR2700 reader with a unique set of features that keep workflow interruptions to a minimum. This battery features an intuitive power gauge that shows battery status every time the reader is triggered to scan, or the power gauge button is pressed. A nurse will never need to guess whether the battery will last through a shift. When the battery is running low, a quick-release latch allows for toolless swapping with a charged battery. To proactively manage the life cycle of the battery, the B27 accepts an easily accessible date code to track deployment date or warranty service date. Also, battery health information is available to device or asset managers. The B27 battery can charge while installed in a CR2700 reader—using the inductive charging station (CRA-A271) or in the quad-bay battery charger (CRA-A274). It takes about 3.5-4 hours to charge a drained battery fully. The CRA-B27 is also available in dark gray to match the dark gray CR2700. |

The CRA-A270 is an accessory charging station for the Code CR2700 series of bar code readers. It is used in situations where a single charger and reader may be shared with multiple computers connected by the Code CRA-BTDG27 Bluetooth USB dongle. This inductive charging station comes in Light Gray (CRA-A270) Customers who use the CR2700 scanners with the CRA-BTDG27 Bluetooth Dongle do not need the CRA-A271 base since it has Bluetooth in it and that is unused in their scenario. They do need a base that allows for the scanner to be charged. The CRA-A270 is the solution to this issue as it is a base that has charging capability but does not have the Bluetooth radio built-in. The CRA-A270 is available in light Gray. |
||||
| The compact A274 quad-bay charging station can charge four batteries for the CR2700 simultaneously (CRA-B27 batteries). Taking about 4 hours to charge batteries for the CR2700 fully, the CRA-A274 is compatible with the CR2AG-P1 power supply. |

| The CRA-A271 is an inductively charging base station designed to be used with the CR2700. Additionally, this base-station also functions as a Bluetooth bridge between the scanner, and the computer the base is paired to. The CRA-A271 Bluetooth Inductive Charging Station streamlines your workflow in two ways; First, it charges the battery in the CR2700—drawing power from a standard USB port on a host PC. Second, it acts as a bridge for Bluetooth wireless communication between the CR2700 reader and a PC host. The charging station features a sleek design that eliminates all exposed metal parts and associated contact failures caused by disinfectant use. A touch-capacitive paging button helps the user quickly locate a misplaced reader and eliminates the crevices around a mechanical button. It can now withstand the harshest disinfecting chemicals commonly used at hospitals, making device disinfection truly a breeze. The station’s unique form factor is compatible with both the palm and handle versions of the CR2700 and with multiple mounting accessories—streamlining device management and minimizing maintenance costs. It is compatible with the CRA-C34 USB charging cable. The charging station is available in light Gray. |

The Bluetooth Dongle can be paired with either the CR2700 Inductive Charger (CRA-A270) or the CR2700 Quad-Bay Battery Charger (CRA-A274) to complete the solution. An example of this environment would be when readers or batteries are charged at a central location and the reader is carried from room to room. | ||||
